You’re “Gonna Need A Bigger Boat” to navigate these “Tasty Waves”

This week, we’re taking you to the coast of Amity Island and the coast of San Diego for these two coastal-inspired beers.

We wanted to do something fun for you. Especially if you’re a beer nerd. We’ve created two styles of IPAs brewed with the same, single hop.

This means you can taste both of these beers for “research” and see how experimental 586 hops affect the flavor in both an East Coast Hazy IPA and West Coast IPA.

Meaning…

So put your scientist hat on, head to the coast, and enjoy these coast-inspired beers.

Beer Releases This Week

Gonna Need A Bigger Boat – Single Hop East Coast Hazy IPA – 6.6% ABV

If you’ve ever wondered why Hazy IPAs are cloudy, look no further than the hop head shark.

Found near Amity Island, hop head sharks are humanely caught and used by brewers (if they make it back to shore) to give their IPAs a more creamy mouthfeel with less bitterness.

Only authentic East Coast Hazy IPAs use hop head shark.

All others are imposters.

But you’ll probably need a bigger boat to catch one.

Brewed and dry-hopped with experimental 586 hops and humanely caught hop head shark* to fill your palette with lots of citrus fruit flavors.

Being an East Coast Hazy you’re going to enjoy soft bitterness, a creamy mouthfeel, and a smooth finish.

*Just kidding. Hop Head Sharks don’t exist.

Tasty Waves – Single Hop West Coast IPA – 6.6% ABV

If you ever find yourself on the west coast, you’ll discover a more relaxed pace.

One where all you need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz and you’ll be fine.

Originally only found in Southern California, this bitter, fruity, dry, and hoppy beer style is a favorite among hop heads all over the world.

Brewed and dry-hopped with experimental 586 hops to fill your palette with lots of citrus fruit flavors. It’s not as bitter as the usual West Coast IPA but has the light mouthfeel and crisp and dry finish you’re used to.
