What to expect at Rockpit Brewing – The Anomalous Orlando Brewery

In the movie Spanglish, John (Adam Sandler) asks Flor (Paz Vega) this question about whether they want their daughters to be the same as everyone else at school or be a couple of oddballs.

“Shouldn’t our kids be more anomalous like Rockpit Brewing?”

Flor replies to the question with, “Yes, you gotta”

John and Flor wanted their daughters to think for themselves. To be their own person. To be different.

To be… anomalous.

Anomalous means deviating from what’s standard, normal, or expected.

If you’re looking for your normal, everyday brewery with standard beer pouring from our taps, you’ll have to go elsewhere.

Normal is boring. Normal is what kills adventure. And that’s why…

You won’t get normal or standard at RockPit Brewing.

Seriously…. With almost everything we’re doing at Rockpit from our tables to our tap handles we asked ourselves “What does the normal, everyday brewery do and what can we do different?” And whatever the normal, everyday brewery was doing, we did something completely different.

You’ll see for yourself when you walk into our brewery for the first time.

Here’s what you can expect at Rockpit

You can expect beer that’s anomalously adventurous.  If you’re on a constant hunt for new, adventurous beers to try, we dedicate half of our taps to experimental, one-of-a-kind, limited edition beers that will satisfy your tastebud’s craving for adventure.

You can expect beer that’s comfortably easy-drinking. The other half of our taps are dedicated to easy drinking ales. Those beers that bring a warm, fuzzy feeling because you feel “at home” when you drink them. You become familiar with them because they’re always on tap, waiting for you to come home and drink a good beer.

You can expected anomalously hand-crafted everything. Seriously… We built everything in our brewery with our own hands. Tables, tap handles, bar, walls, cool room buildings (you’ll see what we mean) and even the picture frames on the walls.

You can expect the people to be anomalous. If you’re kind of an oddball like us, you’ll fit right in. The people who work for and visit Rockpit Brewing are from all walks of life. But one thing we have in common is we all laugh, drink good beer and enjoy each other’s company.

If you want normal, there are plenty of standard, run of the mill Orlando Breweries.
