If you’re undecided about who to vote for in the upcoming election, I think we can help.
We tried to stay neutral on the subject, but as I told you in another post, we were pulled into the political arena by people being upset with a political sign they thought was in our window.
And because of that, we decided to throw our support behind the only logical choice for President: Ourselves.
That’s right… We are asking for your vote in the upcoming election. We figure, “What’s the worst that can happen?” if RockPit is elected President.
And I think you can agree our platform is something you can get behind.
Our platform includes:
Being cool.
Moving forward.
Beer.
More beer.
Oh, so much beer…
And our campaign slogan will help you get through this tumultuous time as long as you adhere to the philosophy behind the message. Which is “Be Cool, It’s Almost Over. Have A Beer.”
See? That’s all you have to do. Be cool, realize it’s almost over, and have a beer. Or seven. Just uber if you do the seven.
In all seriousness, after that email went out last week, I thought about what kind of political campaign sign I’d want to see at RockPit.
I immediately thought of a funny faux campaign t-shirt that mug club member Scott Dansby wears in the taproom.
If you don’t get the reference, watch this video from the movie “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”
So we made our own faux campaign and t-shirt to go along with it.
Yes, you can seriously buy that t-shirt and they are being printed by our friends over at Mikey Prints.
Buy one now here: https://rockpitbrewing.com/product/rockpit-2020-be-cool-its-almost-over-have-a-beer-t-shirt/
My hope is that when you wear the shirt and see yourself in the mirror, it puts a smile on your face.
And if it doesn’t, it’s made with very soft material that is perfect for wiping the tears streaming down your face.
So it’s perfect for any mood you find yourself in.
Also, it serves as a reminder that RockPit will be there for you to help you get through the rest of the year with weekly beer releases, fun events, and good times with even better people – let’s remember we’re all in this together and will help each other get through it.
So if you’re ready to show your support for the only logical choice in this year’s election, grab a shirt and proudly wear it everywhere to let everyone know who you’re throwing your support behind.
Have a great week,
Chris
P.S. The first time we see you wearing the t-shirt at the brewery, we’re buying you a beer. So buy the shirt, get a beer too.
