You‘ve waited until the last minute, haven’t you? Here’s a guide to last-minute gifts for beer enthusiasts.

With just a week left to go until Christmas, I’m sure more than a few of you have waited until the last minute to buy some gifts. Me included…

Or you found out that you’re going to an unexpected party where you need to bring a gift along. Always my favorite thing this time of year.

Either way, I’ve put together a list of last-minute gifts you can give to your favorite beer enthusiast.

And if YOU happen to be that beer lover and want to give someone a “nudge, nudge, wink, wink” on what to get you, send them to this page pointing out the gifts you now so desperately want.

I’ve included things that I, as a huge beer enthusiast, own already or would love to receive as a gift. And of course, I pitch a few RockPit gift ideas.

I’ve ensured these are available locally or available somewhere that has last-minute shipping available that should get there in time for Christmas. The only one I’m not 100% sure of is the RTIC and Growlerwerks merchandise.

Beer Books

I know… books? Yes, I love books and know others do too. Especially when it’s about our favorite subject: beer! A side benefit of sending them these books is they’ll be more than likely to come with you to the brewery more often to test their beer knowledge.

The ULTIMATE guide to beer. Seriously. This book is packed with information about all the different beer styles from around the world. Like the book above, this book will send the recipient to breweries and bottle shops to perform more “research”. My wife is currently using this book to up her beer game and it’s working out pretty well.

A custom box of beer ($25-$50)

This is something I did several years ago for a few friends. I went to a local beer shop called Kenny’s Grocery in Orange City and bought random beers I thought looked interesting. You can do the same at any bottle shop or total wine.

Simply go through the store and find bottles and cans of beer that look good, buy them, stick them in a box and wrap the box. Easy, peasy.

Be careful though… I remember picking up Billy’s Chilies beer. That one hurt. Maybe avoid pepper beers unless you know the recipient likes them.

Don’t know what beers someone will like? Here’s a quick and easy way to find something most people will like.

1) Is it a double IPA or Imperial IPA? They’ll probably like it

2) Is it an Imperial Stout? They’ll probably like it

3) Is it bourbon barrel-aged? They’ll probably like it.

4) Is it from RockPit? They’ll probably like it.

5) Is it White Claw? Hell… they’ll probably like it too. Damn Claws…
