Max from the Brewer’s Anonymous homebrew club came in a helped us whip up a pastry stout made with red velvet cake mix, then aged for a few months on vanilla beans and cacao nibs.

It’s like we blended a piece of cake and put it in the bottle.

Last year, we brewed Soliloquy with the help of our friend Jamal (@thehopcircles).

The original was an imperial stout aged with lots of vanilla beans. We took some of it and aged it in a Garrison Bourbon Barrel for the last few months. Then we aged it again with even MORE vanilla and cacao nibs and bottled it up.

It’s a boozy, chocolatey, vanillaey (made up word), and sweet concoction that will have you shouting your own soliloquy in a matter of minutes.
